On 3 December, the Expo was inaugurated where the five painters, who are students at the University of Durango, they exhibited their works in which to apply the techniques learned, the students are studying Graphic Design.

Ms. Letty Coppel, president Letty Coppel Foundation, delivered a talk to students of CBETIS 51 (High School) on how to succeed in times of crisis. The message Ms. Letty Coppel let the students was that values play an important role in the decisions of young people.
At the end of the talk, students asked questions of Ms. Letty Coppel Foundation on various topics. The talk was held this December 1, 2011 in the premises of CBTIS 51.
On June 11, 2011, the annual celebration of Day of Music was held in the historic downtown area of Mazatlan, where several scenarios were distributed on the streets of the historic center where various groups of different genres of music could be presented to please the attendees at each stage.
Among the musicians who participated were the “choir Guillermo Sarabia,” the “Camaret Mazatlan”, “Klezmerson”, “Casino Slut Bar”, “The Lori Davidson Band”, “Belle et Fou Texas,” and “Social Club Chadoma,” among others, all Mexicans.
For the second consecutive time Letty Coppel Foundation supported this cultural project that attracts visitors to the port of Mazatlan in addition to Mexican musical talent.
Last April 26, the Foundation Letty Coppel participated in the exhibition of paintings that organized the Association United hands of the Disability in the facilities of the Museum of Art of Mazatlan to display the works of art made by the students of this institution.
AMAD is an association that serves people with different abilities, offering painting classes, computing, and crafts; the Foundation Letty Coppel offers monthly support to pay for teachers.
The students presented their works, which were of great pleasure for those attending the shows, who congratulated the artists for their work. This event served as a framework to also celebrate the anniversary of AMAD 4.
On March 22nd and 23rd, 2011, in celebration of International Women’s Day the Letty Coppel foundation in coordination with the Pueblo Bonito Hotels in Mazatlan, has organized two conferences on the subject of domestic violence, given by the staff of the Sinaloa Women’s Institute, (Spanish acronym ISMUJER).
The conferences discuss the causes of violence within the family and the tools to fight against it, as well as giving information from the official bodies to which family members can can go to get attention. These conferences were attended by nearly 100 female employees.
The Letty Coppel Foundation considers it very important preserve family values, as an aid to helping the overall welfare of the family.
After a month of learning activities and recreation Library Lomas del Sol staff and Education Coordinating made the closure of courses, delivery and fellowship awards to celebrate the successful completion of this significant work.
With the assistance of the 50 students who regularly attended the courses, was closed during summer, “My Holiday at the Library” whose aim was to promote the reading habit by relying on leisure and recreational activities.

Eduardo Verastegui visited Los Cabos, invited by Mrs. Letty Coppel who chairs the Foundation Letty Coppel.
